DESIGN MEETS HERITAGE

Nestled in the parkland of Villa Besson — a jewel of international modernist architecture designed in 1964 by Jean Balladur, the architect behind La Grande Motte — Lumipod finds its place in dialogue with history.

This immersive experience is curated by Haute Renommee Gallery, a collection of landmark destinations of architectural significance. Guests enjoy privileged access to this unique 20th-century masterpiece and its one-hectare park, while staying in a beautifully integrated Lumipod ensemble: Lumipod 5, a luxurious minimalist guestroom, and Lumipod Sauna, a premium outdoor wellness retreat.

INNOVATION SERVING SIMPLICITY

The minimalist construction principle of Lumipod — fully designed and manufactured in France — integrates the patented LUMICENE® curved, reversible 120° window, developed in collaboration with Saint-Gobain. This bold feature resonates with the daring lines of the Villa and the technical feats achieved at the time of its construction.

TWO ERAS, ONE VISION

By creating this dialogue between Lumipod and the Villa, two architectural statements share the same ambition: to connect architecture and nature. This encounter also pays tribute to Jean Balladur, echoing his reflections in Le dedans et le dehors, published in Jean-Paul Sartre’s Revue Les Temps Modernes in 1949, of whom he had been a student.
